- I'm a SAHM who is adjusting to life in New York. After a year of teaching first grade in Florida, it seems like budget cuts in New York may force me to reinvent myself yet again. I love to teach and that's the thread that is woven through my life. I've taught in a lot of different settings and have taught everything from aerobics, snow skiing, scrapbooking and paper crafts to more traditional academics. My family lived in Florida from Feb. 2007 until July 2011. Now that we're in New York I'm coaching a DestiNation ImagiNation team and helping out with Cub Scouts. Looking to bloom where I am planted. Remember, God is good!
